The inside is very elegant and clean despite the ongoing construction outside. The food and coffee are excellent. My breakfast sandwich is very good, and my americano tastes great, fruity and fresh. Their menu is simple and easy to choose from. Definitely coming back here soon hopefully after the road construction is completed.

Stopped for a latte, added a salad with smoked trout and didn’t realize it would be incredible! Made with such care and attention to detail/quality. It included onion blossoms, strawberries and scape on fresh greens. And the trout was perfect! Great spot and such wonderful creativity with fresh ingredients…kudos!!!

Just had the most incredible chicken salad sandwich! The atmosphere is super modern and warm. The entire space is super beautiful, with windows that look out on the main street in downtown Port Hope. Staff was super friendly and food came quickly even though they were pretty busy! Highly Recommend.

Breakfast sandwich and matcha latte were absolutely lovely. The staff was also so kind! I felt very welcome, and enjoyed my time in the beautifully designed/decorated space. Highly recommend stopping by :)

So enjoy lingering over coffee at The Main. The atmosphere is beautiful and calming, it’s the perfect place to read the paper, meet up with friends or grab a (delicious) quick bite. Great staff and coffee too! Highly recommend!

We pass through Port Hope periodically and always like to stop in a local food place. Today we just walked down the main street and saw a place called The Main so decided to go in. And we’re glad we did. We got a breakfast sandwich with ham and a chicken salad sandwich and both were really good. Great flavours and fresh. We also got a decaf oat latte and an americano and those were also very enjoyable. I didn’t get a chance to ask, but it appears they get their coffee from a local roaster. And we love to support local so that was fun. Definitely recommend!

5. Loved this cute little spot. Lovely environment, friendly staff and delicious food. Highly recommend the chicken soup! Not fake tasting at all- very fresh and delicious.
